No Direction.

Every time you think you're getting over something, the reality of it comes crashing down all over again. You try to fill the void with other things. Distractions. And it works, for a while. Then the smokescreen dissipates, and you're left with what you started with. Always thought it would hurt more to be utterly helpless when you know exactly what to do. But this hurts just as much, being so lost in these distorted states, having unfathomable rules and not knowing what to do next. Not knowing how to fix everything, if anything at all.

So you end up holding on to the tiny flicker of hope that someone will fix it for you. As impossible as it may seem.
